Financial Education Program

All classes are open to the public and free of charge

About the Program

  • The Financial Education Program was launched by the Habitat for Humanity of Mason County, Family Advocacy Committee in 2017 as a way to address a need.
  • No matter your current income or financial situation, Habitat for Humanity has teamed up with local lenders and community agencies and wants to help.
  • The program focuses on financial education but also included other educational resources that impact families and individuals in Mason County, such as: renting, purchasing a home and current homeowners in need of repairs.
  • This program is for anyone looking to gain the knowledge and resources to improve their situation.
  • The program has grown with the assistance of partnerships with local lenders. These lenders see the need for education and they want to be part of that solution to improve the lives of folks in our community.
  • No matter your current income or financial situation, Habitat for Humanity has teamed up with local lenders and community agencies and wants to help.

All classes are held at the Lakeshore Resource Network Building
